This is a plain-language draft. A lawyer should review it before you rely on it. Selling game accounts may also break Epic’s own terms. That risk sits with the buyer and the seller.

Marketplace Rules and Seller Terms

Last updated 13 October 2026. These rules cover the Fortnite Sniper marketplace. They are part of the Terms of Service.

What may be listed

A seller may list a Fortnite display name, or an account, only when the seller owns it and has the right to deliver it. Every listing needs a delivery note that says how the buyer will receive it. Listings that mention stolen, hacked, or cracked access are blocked.

Becoming a seller

Verify your email, add a shop name, and confirm that you own what you list. We may reject a shop or a listing, ask for more detail, or ban a seller who breaks these rules. A ban can include open listings.

Buyers

Read the listing and the delivery note before you pay. You are buying from the seller, not from Epic. Fortnite Sniper holds the payment and provides the order page. We do not guarantee that Epic will allow the rename or that the account will stay in good standing.

Escrow

Checkout places the payment in a hold. The seller marks the order delivered and the buyer can read the delivery note. The hold releases to the seller when the buyer confirms, or when the hold timer ends if the buyer does not dispute. The fee shown in the marketplace settings (10% unless an admin changes it) comes out of the sale. The seller’s share is the rest.

Disputes and refunds

Marketplace money follows this escrow process. It is not refunded with the plan and credit-pack rules, except where those rules overlap with a failure on our side, such as a double charge.

Ask for help within 7 days of the problem through Support. Include the order link. See the Refund Policy.

Payouts

Seller balance can be requested as a payout once it reaches the minimum shown in the marketplace (the default is $20). We may delay a payout while a dispute is open or while we review a report. You are responsible for taxes on what you earn.

Reports

Anyone signed in can report a listing. Use that for stolen goods, misleading text, or a seller who will not deliver. We may remove the listing while we look.

Removal

We may remove a listing or a shop, or close an account, without notice when these rules are broken. Orders already in escrow are finished or refunded through the dispute process rather than deleted.
